The ADP National Employment Report is an independent measure of the labor market based on anonymized weekly data on more than 26 million private sector workers in the United States. ADP’s Pay Insights captures more than 15 million salary change data each month. Together, the employment and payroll report uses ADP’s detailed data to provide a representative and consistent picture of the private sector labor market.

“Overall hiring is stable, but job growth continues to favor certain industries, including health care,” said Dr. Nela Richardson, chief economist, ADP. “In March, this solid performance was accompanied by an increase in the earnings of people changing jobs.”
