JOHANNESBURG, April 01, 2026Cartrack, the world’s leading software platform for operational excellence and a subsidiary of Karooooo Limited (NASDAQ: KARO), has announced a long-term partnership with the Maharishi Invincibility Center to empower youth from disadvantaged communities with access to skills development and education, which aims to expand South African employment opportunities and reduce youth unemployment in South Africa.
Cartrack now employs over 6 000 people in South Africa, attracting talent from across the country, and continues to grow its workforce as the business grows. This partnership strengthens Cartrack’s existing Cartrack Academy, and together, Cartrack and the Maharishi Invincibility Institute aim to provide a joint development journey for students, supporting young people from basic education to the level of job readiness and ending with a meaningful, sustainable career with Cartrack.
“We are focused on building a sustainable future and creating real opportunities for unemployed youth from disadvantaged communities across South Africa,” says Joshua Victor, CEO of Cartrack South Africa. “By working closely with the Maharishi Invincibility Institute for a long time, we are able to expand our influence by combining the basics of education with practical experience of the workplace. This creates a complete path for young people, enabling them to move between learning and working in an organized and supportive way.”
“We are very excited to be working with Cartrack, as this partnership allows us to expand our shared vision of empowering unemployed youth through education and skill development,” says Dr. Taddy Blecher, co-founder and CEO of the Maharishi Invincibility Institute. “Through Cartrack’s partnership, we are able to invest in our young people by giving them the opportunity to gain real-world work experience alongside their educational journey. Partnerships like this are vital to creating sustainable career paths, and we are proud to work together to open up opportunities and build a bright future for young South Africans.”
The partnership builds on Cartrack’s continued commitment to youth development through its Cartrack Academy. Each year, approximately 500 young people enter this program, where successful graduates receive SETA and QCTO certifications as well as experience that prepares them for the needs of the workplace. These students transition into long-term careers within Cartrack, strengthening the program’s success as a long-term talent pipeline.
